I’m guessing this raises the leadership stat when picked right? The wise dragon, a sage with the wisdom to guide her people and the strength to protect them. I noticed the way I’m building her totally coincides with the tattoo I gave her. Or perhaps a daughter or retainer of the one who “owns” her, someone who also has the spark of one meant to lead, preferably another warrior. Maybe it would be someone after she attains freedom but I think I would be so much better to develop the relationship when she is still going threw this ordeal. Another female warrior perhaps or gladiator if that happens. Especially for one with similar principals as hers. I can only be really invested if the RO is female. I think I tend to put a bit of myself into my MCs and that happens to be part of it. However when it comes to romance I will only take other females into consideration because I’m only interested in females. So here’s the funny thing, I like strong female protagonists and I make them such when I have the choice. What about romance though? Is that even on her radar? Not sure if I will want to delve into this touchy issue though Racial stereotypes would be hard to break even with your MC speaking perfect Latin. In fact, I find writing the parts for Latin illiterate MCs super tedious. Being able to speak the language, whilst not a panacea to all your problems, certainly breaks down communication barriers and this is super helpful (as it has already proven). Vis a vis conversational Latin, which would definitely come in handy when dealing with Romans. I would say that it’s always a sacrifice, becoming literate would definitely be highly beneficial, especially in the late game, but then it means a harder time against opponents who have spent their time honing their martial skills, or even political opponents who spend the time socializing and influencing people. But of course, with influence and money, anything is possible. Well as long as intelligence still does something, still will the lower class mc never get the chance to learn to read and write? Or will we have to forego so many other things for it that it isn’t worthwhile anymore by the time we can finally gain the skill?īack then, literacy was not a priority, especially in the sphere of gladiators.
